The Exchange 106 is a 445.5 m (1,462 ft) tall supertall skyscraper located within the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) area, a new financial district currently being developed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building has 95 habitable floors and is topped with a 65-metre (213 ft), 12-storey high illuminated crown. Construction lasted from 2016 to 2019 and averaged one floor every three days, currently it is the third tallest building in Malaysia, behind the Petronas Twin Towers, and the 21
st tallest building in the world.
Designed by the inhouse architects at developer Mulia Group and Architect of Record, Peter Chan, it breaks away from the norm as most high-rise buildings are designed by specialist architecture practices such as SOM, Kohn Pedersen Fox and Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture.
