and arizona, migrant caravans push toward the us border. rick leventhal is in el paso tonight. reporter: at the current pace the migrant caravan won t get to the border until december which gives the us military plenty of time to gear up for this mission and some of those deployed soldiers have arrived at fort bliss which is one of several military installations in texas, arizona and california serving as support and logistics hubs for thousands of troops and those troops are coming from bases across america including fort knox and fort hamilton, fort bragg and other bases in georgia, illinois, colorado and washington state. the assets include helicopter battalions, cargo planes, medical, military police and numerous engineering specialists bringing materials that will be reinforced at ports of entry with temporary vehicle barriers, temporary housing not for migrants but border agents and
