Solarvest bags RM47m EPCC job to build TNB s 50MW solar farm in Kedah

Clean energy specialist Solarvest Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM46.75 million subcontract job from Tenaga Nasional Bhd to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the development of a 50-megawatt large scale solar photovoltaic plant in Bukit Selambau, Kedah.

TNB inks deal with MAHB to supply cooling energy at KLIA

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 23): Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has entered into a deal with Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) to supply cooling energy and electricity at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for a period of 20 years. A joint venture (JV) firm between TNB s wholly-owned subsidiary TNB Engineering Corp Sdn Bhd (TNEC) and MAHB s wholly-owned unit Airport Ventures Sdn Bhd (AVSB) has been set up to undertake the project, said TNB. The JV firm Cooling Energy Supply Sdn Bhd will be 70% owned by TNEC and 30% by AVSB, and will have an issued share capital of RM52.35 million, the utility giant said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has entered into a deal with Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) to supply cooling energy and electricity at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for a period of 20 years. A joint venture firm between TNB s wholly-owned subsidiary TNB Engineering Corp Sdn Bhd and MAHB s wholly-owned unit Airport Ventures Sdn Bhd has been set up to undertake the project. The total project cost for the JV project is RM183 million and will be funded through a combination of external borrowings by the concessionaire and shareholders equity.
