Reina Liu won 10 events and swam some of the fastest times in history for a 13-year-old, while David Sammons won 13 gold medals at the North Carolina Age Group Championships.
Although gone, the community members who died in 2022 won’t soon be forgotten, as their legacies persevere and continue to shape the landscape of Winston-Salem.
