Chief Executive of the Energy Users Association of Australia Andrew Richards finds it “hard to believe” that gas companies would not be able to continue exploration and drilling when they’re still “making a 200 per cent markup”.
“International gas prices which impact Australia are likely to stay high for some period of time which is why again the federal government has intervened in the way they have,” Mr Richards told Sky News Australia.
