That preschooler attended Yardville Elementary School in hamilton township. This is the first new jersey child death involving the respiratory illness. Health officials stress its unclear if the enterovirus played a direct role or a contributing factor in his dea death. The state currently has nine confirm cases of the virus in several counties including camden and burlington. Meanwhile tonight, three children being tested for enterovirus d68 at chop. All of these children have developed weakness in their arms and legs along with swelling in their spine. Doctors are investigating to see if theres connection between the weakness and the enterovirus infection. In Colorado Group of eight children experienced weakness and paralysis.
