Its perfectly obvious that this shutdown is engineered by the democrats to pander to their extremist base. Why else would they shove the daca issue into the middle of the entire federal spending bill when its got nothing to do with spending and theres a separate negotiation on immigration that doesnt have to be completed until march. But the real question is why do woe have this endless crisis over the federal budget. Thats the long term problem and for that we blame the republicans, just as much as the democrats.
