Minister of Power and Energy Dullas Alahapperuma and Maldives High Commissioner Omar A. Razak had a special discussion on the support that the Sri Lankan power sector receives from the climatic factors of Sri Lanka and the possible promotions in the power sector.
The Maldivian High Commissioner briefed the Minister of Power on the stable weather conditions prevailing in Sri Lanka and the variability of meteorological and climatic factors at different times of the year.
It was also discussed at length with the Minister of Power on how these climatic conditions could be used for the betterment of the power sector.
