Interactive RadarBefore the rain even began, a severe thunderstorm watch was issued that was not a typical severe thunderstorm watch, according to WeatherWatch 12 Chief Meteorologist Mark Baden. It was known at a PDS watch, meaning a particularly dangerous situation watch. The biggest threat late Wednesday night and into the overnight hours was damaging winds and potentially spin-up tornadoes. The storms also produced a lot of lightning.
