DCI s Hunt for Father Who Killed His Son Ends at Airport

Detectives attached to the DCI on Friday, April 9, arrested a man who is believed to have killed his son following a search that lasted for almost a year.
The man is said to have attempted to flee the country on a Qatar-bound flight before the police apprehended him at the airport. He had been on the run since June 2020.
According to police, the murder took place in a village in Kisii county when the father and son engaged in a squabble in their home.

The high court has barred a Nairobi Member of County Assembly (MCA) from unlawfully obtaining a Ksh 400 million plot belonging to an 80-year-old businessman.
The order was issued by Lady Justice Kossy Bor of the Environment and Land Court who ruled that Jayantilal Kachra Shah is the sole and rightful owner of the multimillion prime land located in Njiru, Nairobi County.

A family in Nairobi s Kahawa West area has revealed the last moments of their kin, lawyer Benson Kayai who has been missing since Sunday, February 7.
According to police reports, the lawyer was last spotted at around 6 pm along Muhoho avenue, South C around a week ago.
Speaking to
Citizen TV, the lawyer s son, Ian Kayai, revealed that he had a conversation with his father on the phone at around 5 pm on the fateful day.

His father had called to find out how the family business was doing. Ian, who had not visited the business in a while, promised to get back after undertaking a physical checkup on the shop. However, at around 6 p.m, phone calls to his father went unanswered.
