Moochie centres on Dayonte ‘Moochie’ Resiles, who is accused of murder
Paris-based independent distributor Terranoa has acquired international sales rights to French true crime docuseries Moochie.
Originally commissioned by France’s Canal+, the series focuses on the murder of wealthy heiress Jill Halliburton Su, who was killed in a home invasion in Fort Lauderdale in 2014.
As well as examining the ongoing investigation into the killing, it will also tell the story of Dayonte ‘Moochie’ Resiles, who is facing the death penalty for the murder.
The series is expected to air in the second half of 2022, with the final release date depending on the date on which Resiles’ trial is scheduled.
