SHAH ALAM: A total of 8,843 new employers nationwide have come forward to register during the legalisation period implemented by the Social Security Organisation (Socso) from May 1 to 31.
The Ministry of Human Resources said this entitlement is not applicable to civil servants and other groups of employees who are not covered under the First Schedule of the Employment Act (i.e., those who earn RM2,000 and below).
