Yesterday the court agreed to hear arguments beginning in late april and a decision is expected in june. Joining me now in studio emma margolen. Lets talk about the states in question and how theyve been defending their ban. Theyve been defending their bans with everything theyve got. Weve heard arguments based on federalism to a precedent upholding samesex marriage bans to highly questionable recent stating that samesex calms make inferior parents. But the one argument that sticks is the one we heard in the sixth circuit ruling upholding these bans and thats based on states rights.
