Mortal Kombat Movie Releases One-Month Promo Video

Mortal Kombat Movie Releases One-Month Promo Video The upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot film is set to release just one month from today in theaters and on HBO Max as of April 16th. To celebrate the occasion, a new promo for the movie has been released featuring a bunch of the known characters. While nothing truly new appears to be included, there are a couple of shots that zip by of the characters that are worth noting. Specifically, at one point in the brief promo, there is a good look at Kabal in the background without anyone in front of him, offering a look at him for the first time truly on his own. A previous poster had shown what Kabal looked like in a key art pose, but he was partially obscured. The new promo might move constantly and never intentionally focus on him, but the look at him all by his lonesome does technically exist in there.

Mortal Kombat: New poster finally reveals a great look at Kabal

Mortal Kombat: New poster finally reveals a great look at Kabal March 10, 2021 by: A new challenger has appeared! Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have unleashed a new poster for MORTAL KOMBAT that gives us our first great look at Kabal. Before now, Kabal has only appeared briefly in the official Mortal Kombat trailer, but even then, his back is turned toward the camera. Truth be told, I saw Kabal when I visited the set of Mortal Kombat back in November 2019. He appeared on a nearby monitor and looked to be fighting his way out of an underground tunnel. Later in the visit, I spotted Kabal actor Daniel Nelson out of costume and practicing moves with his hook swords. Kabal has been one of my favorite characters since he was first introduced in Mortal Kombat 3, so you can imagine my excitement when I discovered that he s in the film.
