With all of the hustle and bustle of the upcoming weekend, anticipating one of the most patriotic holidays, you may have forgotten that this Saturday, July 3rd, voting polls are going to be open from 7 am to 7 pm for the Victoria mayoral election.
What s more American than the right to vote?
Before you pop the fireworks or the brewski, you can exercise your 15th amendment rights by getting to the polling centers in Victoria to cast your ballot!
Normally we don t have elections midyear but sadly our dear friend and mayor Rawley McCoy passed away unexpectedly earlier this year in March. He had served 2 of his 4-year term. We wrote a tribute to Rawley s service on March 6th which you can read below.
