Coaches Emmerson Trotman and Vasbert Drakes have not been dumped by the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA).
BCA president Conde Riley said both men were very much part of the set-up and will call the shots in this year’s Regional Four-day First-class Championship.
Riley told Weekend Sport that it was wrong to say Trotman and Drakes were dropped for next month’s Regional Super50 Cup in Antigua.
He said succession planning was being done and a decision was taken to provide Dexter Toppin and Corey Collymore with the opportunity to be in charge of the one-day side.

Barbados head coach Emmerson Trotman has hailed the form of West Indies top-order batsman, Shai Hope, but said he was not surprised the right-hander had bounced back strongly, following his axing for the Test tour of New Zealand earlier this month.
The 27-year-old Hope has been in excellent form during the Barbados Cricket Association’s Legends Cup, stroking two hundreds in the tournament which is in preparation for next February’s Regional Super50 in Antigua.
“I am happy but not surprised. Shai is a very good player. The best batsman in the Caribbean,” Trotman told
