Newark and Sherwood community effort ensures Christmas gifts for vulnerable and lonely
Generous people across Newark and Sherwood have donated gifts to vulnerable people this Christmas.
In addition, Newark and Sherwood Community Hub has given out craft bags to families for over the festive season.
A total of 36 bags were put together by hub manager Jill Musson and her team, which were distributed by the Humanitarian Assistance Response Team (HART) at Newark and Sherwood District Council.
Jodie Churton is pictured with the gifts donated to her appeal.
Jill said: âWe purchased and put together the bags ourselves without any outside donations apart from our own time and care.
