U-20 Afcon:Cameroon drawn in same group alongside hosts, Mauritania

Cameroon have been drawn in Group A of the U-20 African Nations Championship alongside hosts Mauritania, Uganda and Mozambique.
The draw for the tournament was conducted on Monday, January 26, in Yaounde in the presence of top African legends like Rigobert Song, Geremi Njitap, Gaelle Enganamouit..etc.
CAF interim President, Constant Omari, CAF Executive Committee Members, CAF acting Secretary General, Abdelmounaum Bah and Anthony Baffoe, CAF’s Deputy Secretary General and former Ghana international were amongst those in attendance.
CAF Head of Competitions, Khaled Nasser conducted the draw assisted by former Cameroon international Emmanuel Maboang.
Top African Legends to attend Total U-20 AFCON Draw
Some of Africaâs biggest football legends will converge on Yaoundé, Cameroon to attend the Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations official draw on Monday.
The draw will be conducted on 25 January 2021 at 11:00 local time (10:00 GMT and 12:00 CAT).
The legends list will include a star-studded line-up from Cameroon with the likes of former captain Rigobert Song, another Cameroon legend and midfielder Geremi Njitap, Emmanuel Maboang, former international goalkeeper Jacques Sango and Cameroon womenâs international Gaelle Enganamouit.
Adding to the list of legends will be former South African international Mark Fish and Khaliou Fadiga, a member of that famous Senegalese class of 2002 that made a name for itself in the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup.
