The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has reversed the decision to sack the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, Mrs Gertrude Quashigah.
Mrs Quashigah s appointment was terminated on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
No reason was however assigned for her removal.
She was subsequently directed to hand over to the Chief Director of the Gender Ministry.
But a letter dated, May 20, 2021, signed and issued by the sector Minister, Sarah Adwoa Safo, said she had reversed her earlier decision to terminate Mrs Quashigah’s appointment.
According to her, “the earlier letter was as a result of an administrative error.”

The family of a late Minister for Health, Major Rtd Courage Emmanuel Kobla Quashigah has donated assorted items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the less privileged at the Christ Faith Foster Home at Adentan as part of activities marking his 11th anniversary.
Led by the widow Dr. Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah who is also the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, her sons, daughters and other relatives – the Quashigah’s family donated bags of 25kg rice, crates of egg, cartons of milk, gallons of cooking oil (25 litters), boxes of biscuits, pieces of toilet role, boxes of kalyppo, crates of soft drinks, packs of bottle water, bags of sachet water, face masks, toffies and tissue papers among others.
