French rescue services have found a sixth body following an avalanche southwest of Mont Blanc in the French Alps and have now called off their search, local authorities said on Monday.
Among the dead near Mont Blanc in the French Alps swept were two mountain guides caught by the snow tumbling down the Armancette glacier, the prefecture for the Haute-Savoie department said.
Four people have died and nine others have been injured on Sunday (local time) in an avalanche southwest of Mont Blanc in the French Alps, according to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin, reported DW News.
