A new artistic and historical experience is available for communities across San Luis Obispo County to immerse themselves in. The artist's name is Camille Hoffman, and her exhibit aims to call attention toward the history of the first documented Filipinos on Chumash land a history the artist says has been forgotten.
– The Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery at Cuesta College has announced the return of the Annual Student Art Exhibition on April 21. There’s a new mural in San Luis Obispo inspired by the legend of a mythical Black warrior queen, called "Calafia Was Here," which the SLO Museum of Art says explores the unrecorded histories of Black Americans in the West.
