Morrisons Rochdale has teamed up with local councillor Faisal Rana to donate even more to good causes.
The supermarket has been busy delivering groceries to Rochdale Soup Kitchen, the Foodbank, Angie s Angels and homeless groups during the pandemic, and also supports several other organisations including Springhill Hospice and cancer charities like Marie Curie.
It has now joined up with Spotland ward councillor Faisal Rana to reach out to more groups and needy families in the town.
Emma Pedgrift, community champion for Morrisons Rochdale said: Our customers are very generous and have donated several tonnes of goods to help local families and lots of voluntary groups. The store is keen to do even more and reach out to all parts of the local community.
