The new jersey forest fire command is preparing for another day of battling blazes. They watch firefighters pumping water from a lake and dousing hot spots. Now that the humidity that made the fire smolder early this morning has burned off smoke is rising again today. Drying conditions prevail making it more susceptible for fires. When the relative humidity is below 23 you can have cigarette fires. You can have exhaust fires. Reporter rangers say theyre on top of the situation.
