UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure hosts the 5th Arab Water Forum April 14, 2021

ABU DHABI, UAE The 5th Arab Water Forum (AWF5) will be held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi from Sept. 21 to 23, 2021, it was announced.
More than 800 high-level participants including government ministers and undersecretaries representing 22 participant governments, high government officials, public and private sector organization will attend the triennial conference that will see more than 50 experts discussing water scarcity and sustainable development across the region.
To be held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the three-day Forum will focus on an important theme “Arab Water Security for Peace and Sustainable Development” and will be attended by government delegations and the private sector of the 22 Arab countries.
Masdar, Samruk-Kazyna to explore renewable energy opportunities in Kazakhstan
ABU DHABI, 25th February, 2021 (WAM) Masdar, one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies and a subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, and Samruk-Kazyna, the sovereign wealth fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced today that they have signed a strategic agreement to explore renewable energy opportunities in Kazakhstan and support the country’s clean-energy objectives.
Fawaz Al Muharrami, Acting Executive Director, Masdar Clean Energy, and Yerzhan Tutkushev, Managing Director for logistics and international cooperation, Member of Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna, signed the agreement today at a ceremony held at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi in the presence of Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, and Akhmetzhan Yessimov, CEO of Samruk-Kazyna.
