Blackrock Names APAC Co-Heads for Sustainable Investing
The New York-headquartered asset manager has appointed
Geir Espeskog and
Emily Woodland as co-heads of «Blackrock Sustainable Investing» (BSI) for APAC.
Espeskog is Blackrock’s current head of iShares APAC distribution after first joining the exchange-traded fund business in 2010 through its London office. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2015 and has grown iShares assets under management from $50 billion to over $160 billion including for sustainable investment products.
Woodland joins from AMP Capital where she as its head of sustainable investment since 2018 overseeing ESG-related initiatives across products, research, analysis and thought leadership. Previously, she was also with Asia Debt Management’s sustainable investment programs and spent 16 years with UBS in trading and portfolio
