Health Officials Say the 17 people who got sick started showing symptoms within 24 hours of eating a thanksgiving meal at the American Legion in antioch. Our hearts go out to the families. This is likely a food bourne illness but our investigation is ongoing. Doctors dont know what food could be to blame. Some dishes were prepared there. Others brought in i yims were turkeys cooked at various homes, hams, and also, sweet potato. Some people only ate left overs. The ages range from teens to people in their 70s. Nobody answered
