Heating and Ventilation News A trial to install 750 heat pumps in UK homes to study how to optimise the technologies is expected to be completed by winter after facing significant disruption resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic   The UK government is to push ahead with national trials to install hundreds of heat pumps over the course of this year to tackle what it views as key barriers of the take-up of such technologies. Alex Hobley, energy innovation project manager with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) said that a £14.6m ‘Electrification of Heat Demonstration Project’ was nearly halfway to achieving its aim of installing 750 heat pumps to test their performance in different types of homes.

Suspiciously, there were no red pieces of clothing outside my bedroom, which may have given away the origin of these items. When my crew looked inside, they found some freeze-dried ice cream and HI-SEAS patches. It was my little thank you gift to them on this special day in my native country s (Slovakia) tradition.
