MIDDLETOWN, RI Times are Tough Gallery is opening at the DeBlois Gallery Feb 6, from 1 to 7 p.m..
“Times are Tough Gallery,” a tiny fine art and craft venue, is the brainchild of owner/curator Pia Hogue. As a working artist, I love the camaraderie of shows,” she said. Hogue saw that the markets where she and her fellow artists would sell their work, closed due to Covid, she decided to help by opening a gallery. “These are my friends, these are great people, they are hurting,” she added.
The DeBlois Gallery offered “Times are Tough Gallery” their space in Middletown at the DeBlois Gallery for the month of February to give them the opportunity to spread out and feature even more local art.
