The California Teacher Response Network In December 2020, The Inverness Institute, with support from the Stuart Foundation, initiated the California Teacher Consultant Response Network (TCRN) in order to create a mechanism for informing policymakers, educational leaders, foundations, and the public about the conditions of teaching and learning in California classrooms in the pandemic era. As many California schools began to at least partially re-open, we expanded membership in the network to include more elementary school teachers. We are currently administering a second survey that focuses on teachers’ experiences and perceptions of the re-opening. EdSource will be publishing a set of three spotlights in the coming weeks.
