Im bonnie. Im a tenyear lung cancer survivor. My name is Emily Bennett taylor. Im 30 years old. I was diagnosed a little over two years ago when i was 28. Ive never smoked. There was nobody in my family that smoked. I didnt really think that someone like me could get lung cancer. I mean i just thought it was impossible. I think when they told me its lung cancer i just thought, theres no way. It cant be. It just cant be. Its probably bronchitis or pneumonia. Its not that. It was just like one thing after another. We kept going to the doctor. It was a little bit more information. Well, now we have done a pet scan and we see it in your left hip. Its in your right shoulder. It is throughout your brain. So it was just a little bit more, a little bit more, you know, just it was too much to handle. 39 year olds are not supposed to get cancer and 39yearold healthy girls should not get cancer.
