IO Interactive may have put a cap on the modern Hitman trilogy with the successful launch of Hitman 3, but the developer is far from finished with giving players more ways to pursue killing puzzles with master assassin Agent 47. Recently, IO Interactive shared a lovely roadmap of new content coming to Hitman 3 full of new gear, Escalations, Featured Contracts, and other challenges. Now Hitman 3 has gotten a big February patch full of that mapped content, as well as other various changes and tweaks to help improve the quality of the game. IO Interactive have unveiled a roadmap of post-launch content for Hitman 3, promising free new content that you can play through the rest of February. This includes new Featured Contracts, two new Escalations and an Elusive Target contract set in Sapienza level.

It all starts today with the first Escalation, dubbed The Baskerville Barney, and continues next week with a Dubai Featured Contract that has been created in collaboration with MinnMax. A further Featured Contract is coming from KindaFunny on 23rd February, which is also when two Deluxe Escalations will be added to the game for Deluxe Edition buyers, adding in a handful of new game items as well.

Hitman 3 s only been out a couple of weeks, but IO Interactive clearly doesn t intend to let assassin s catch their breath; the developer has now detailed Hitman 3 s first month of free post-launch content, and there s a lot going on as February unfolds.
Things get underway today, 4th February, with the arrival of new Escalation contract The Baskerville Barney, which challenges players to navigate Thornbridge Manor and kill off the entire Carlisle family - but only using accidents .
That s followed on 11th February with a Dubai-set Featured Contract being released in conjunction with YouTube show MinnMax, and there s another Escalation contract arriving on 18th February - this time in the form of The Sinbad Stringent, which arms players with nothing but a throwing knife and pits them against a series of (presumably increasingly nefarious) boxes.
Hitman 3 has plenty of post-launch content planned for the month ahead. All players can enjoy a new Elusive Target mission, plus several free Escalation Contracts some of which come from the minds of KindaFunny and MinnMax. As outlined in the Hitman 3 February Roadmap, however, new weapons and outfits are exclusively available to owners of the Deluxe Edition.

Hitman 3 is arguably one of the long-running series’ best entries. Now, just a couple of weeks after its launch, the game is already improving via free updates. Most of the new content is available to all players, but some additions are only available to users that purchased Hitman 3 Deluxe Edition.
