Everything went well for the Arizona volleyball team in their match on Friday, Feb. 19, as they swept Oregon State by set scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 26-24 in McKale Center.

With things not going their way in the early part of the season, Arizona volleyball needed to get wins where they could. Facing another young team who brought just nine players to Tucson seemed like a prime opportunity.
The Wildcats seized that opportunity with a straight-set victory over the Oregon State Beavers by the score of 25-22, 25-19, 26-24.
“It wasn’t the cleanest match on either side, but it was good for us to play well enough to win the match,” Arizona head coach

• The teams split last season s series, each match going five sets.
• In both games in 2019, OSU recorded more kills with a 60-59 mark in the first game and 75-61 advantage in the second. The Beavers also recorded more assists in each game last year with 55-52 in the first game and 67-59 in game two.
