absolutely. we re still seeing how the freedom caucus is reacting to this. obviously upset about the deal speaker mccarthy struck and could have a range of tools in their use to respond to this and s though share frustration and anger. and that will continue the conversation. you also saw there were some republicans who wanted an emergency supplemental. so i think that we ll have a lot of different factions here who weren t completely satisfied coming back and continuing some of the conversations. in a way this helps with that fight somewhat setting some of the top line numbers. but at the same time, there is still a lot more to determine underneath in terms of how government funding is allocated and certainly another opportunity for that back and
districts because they wanted to make sure that they could require students to wear masks so they could keep children safe who at the time couldn t get vaccinated themselves. so when it comes to the effort to make sure that we can really prevent the spread, we have to make sure that we are maximizing our local government s ability to establish public health practices. so that s why i think the effort begins and, of course, we need to make sure that we ramp up testing as quickly as possible. and i think we ll have to provide some additional resources from congress through an emergency supplemental to be able to assist with that. though the testing shortage doesn t end at florida s border. this is a nationwide issue. doesn t the federal government have some responsibility for the lack of tests? certainly the federal government has a responsibility and we need to make sure that we, as president biden responsibly did, he enacted the
toe-to-toe with him. how has that turned out? it s turned out terrible for the people of ukraine because when putin looks at biden, he sees chamberlain. we all have one president at a time. i stand ready to work with president biden to do an emergency supplemental. i ve been on the phone with several democratic senate colleagues who are willing to help ukraine in terms of cyberattacks, they re willing to flow more assistance into ukraine. we need to be doing a lot of things. we should create a task force, the department of justice, state and treasury to go after putin s oligarch friends who benefit from these misadventures. unfortunately joe biden is not going to toe-to-toe with putin he is getting run over by putin and the iranians are watching and the chinese are watching. so to president biden, if you want some help in congress in the senate to be tougher against russia, i stand willing
