Bangladesh Air Force rescues 4 students trapped in Himchhari hill

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) rescued 4 students trapped in inaccessible hill in Himchhari area of Cox s Bazar on Saturday (19-12-2020) and brought them to Cox s Bazar Airport by AW-139 search and rescue helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force, said a press release.
BAF has always been providing emergency assistance in dealing with any national crisis. BAF has been continuing its Emergency Air Transport and Medical Evacuation (MADAVAC) service with professionalism ensuring its commitment ‘In Aid to Civil Power’.
In line with this, the search and rescue mission was conducted under the necessary direction of the Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, BBP, OSP, ndu, psc.
