Storms cause damage across Central Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) - Severe storms on Monday, November 20 have caused damage in parts of Mississippi. Trees were down on Emerald Mound Road and Greenwood Subdivision Road in Adams County. In Madison County, authorities said trees have been removed from the roadways. There's no word on any injuries at this time.

During their investigation, Major Case Squad investigators identified 24-year-old Alex B. Kersting and 41-year-old Monica L. Deroy as persons of interest in the case. The release said they were last seen driving a red, 2007 Ford Taurus with Missouri license plates ZD2F8P.

Major Case Squad identifies man found dead in St Clair Co , Ill

It is believed the man died from an intentional act, police said. On Sunday, they released information and images about the man found dead. Police said he was a black man possibly in his 30s with a beard and multiple distinctive tattoos. Police said he had a 69 tattoo under his right eye and a CMC tattoo across his abdomen.  He was wearing light gray jeans, a black, Harley-Davidson leather jacket and a unique Denver Broncos ball cap when he was killed. Later Sunday, the Major Case Squad identified him as Keith G. Carter. The Major Case Squad said the man may be from the City of St. Louis and may frequent homeless areas.
