Semiconductor Startups: To attract chip manufacturers to start production in India, the Government launched a $10 billion incentive scheme in 2021 as part of the Indian Semiconductor Mission. The Indian Government also started several initiatives like Chip to Startups (C2S), which aims at developing manpower in VLSI/Embedded System Design and the creation of reusable IPs repository by leveraging startups and MSMEs.
