Advantech Connect Online Partner Conference sees AIoT Vision
Advantech, a specialist in industrial IoT, has launched Advantech Connect, with AIoT Vision as its theme.
An online partner conference, the forum will centre around five main topics: Industrial IoT, Embedded IoT, IoT Cloud Platform – WISE-PaaS, Smart City Solutions and Services, and Cloud IoT.
It is being held from 24 February to 6 May. In total, more than 20 online forums will be hosted over the next three months.
Aimed at global C-suite executives and business/technical leaders, it will survey innovative ideas and consider how best to leverage co-creation with ecosystem partners.

Swissbit announces acquisition of Hyperstone Swissbit, a specialist provider of data-storage and embedded IoT solutions,is to acquire Hyperstone, a leading supplier of flash memory controllers, from CML Microsystems.
Swissbit said that the acquisition will help to boost its technology competence and further strengthen its position as an independent European manufacturer of memory and security products.
Future joint development projects will focus on innovative solutions in the attractive growth market for security and embedded IoT and both companies said that they would be working together to meet the rapidly growing demands from customers for data and device security in the Internet of Things.

European memory device maker Swissbit has bought Hyperstone, a German specialist supplier of flash memory controllers, to develop embedded IoT and security devices
Swissbit Holding AG is the only independent European maker of industrial memory systems such as SD and microSD memory cards, SSD hard disks and USB memory modules as well as hardware-based security solutions for applications in the Internet of Things (IoT).
The purchase of Hyperstone GmbH from CML Microsystems in the UK still has to be approved by the regulators. Hyperstone s existing management team around Managing Director Dr Jan Peter Berns will invest in the group as part of the transaction and will hold a minority stake.
