Things starting off early on this saturday morning. Breaks in the clouds over the metro area approaching sunrise. Two minutes away at 6 03. Starting off for us this morning, the storm team 4 radar showing light sprinkles of rain, light showers now, mainly in band to our west. You can see a giant circulation in the atmosphere. The deep area of low pressure and a dry slot over us now. Showers are right from the panhandle of West Virginia, tracking well we of us heading south. The football field where malcolms two children attend school. And i spoke with the family today. Not ready to go on camera yet but they insist theyll be at the vigil to honor malcolm who they call a hero. He died trying to help and his family says hed do it again. A makeshift memorial stands where he was shot down, killed at Montgomery Mall where he began shooting random people. His family calls him a hero. Malcolm was always trying to help. A wife, two daughters, a brother, a sister, and so many more remember a man who seemed to be laughing and joking with an eye out for the positive things, the good, like him they say. One of the good ones. The family tells me its difficult what he meant to the family. They was center of it, the handyman, the mechanic, the jokester, the life of the party.
