PASAY CITY, May 3  Food and Friendship: The Japan-Philippines 65th Anniversary Online Cooking Contest (Cooking Contest) is an online competition that will be conducted as part of the year-long celebration of the 65th anniversary of the normalization of bilateral ties between Japan and the Philippines. The competition will center on photo and video entries from Filipino contestants that focus on Japanese cuisine and/or Filipino-Japanese fusion cooking and will be judged on criteria such presentation, recipe, and photo or video quality. The contest will be done in two stages: the First Round, wherein contestants will submit photos of their dish, and the Second/Final Round, where shortlisted contestants from the First Round will submit videos of themselves preparing the dish they previously submitted as their entry for the first round.
