Four FC men martyred in firing by Afghan-based gunmen - Newspaper

QUETTA / ISLAMABAD: Four personnel of the Frontier Corps were martyred and six others injured in the Manzakai area of Zhob district when terrorists based in Afghanistan opened fire at them on Wednesday, the military’s media affairs wing said. In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the incident, saying the terrorists had ambushed FC troops from Afghanistan when they were moving to carry out fencing at the Pak-Afghan border in Manzakai sector. “Four soldiers of Frontier Corps embraced Shahadat while six others got injured in the ambush,” the ISPR said, adding that the FC troops promptly responded to the attack.

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Partnership Between Oslo Metropolitan and Kabul Universities

Afghanistan Embassy Today, Tuesday the 2 nd of February 2021, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Oslo facilitated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Kabul University and Oslo Metropolitan University, to mark the beginning a long-term partnership between the two universities. The ceremony was attended by the two respective heads of Universities, Chancellor Prof. Mohammad Osman Babury of Kabul University and Rector Prof. Curt Rice of Oslo Metropolitan University, together with the heads of various faculty and departments of their institutions, as well as Ambassador Ghafoorzai as facilitator of the meeting and Norwegian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ole Andreas Lindeman.
