The One Show: Brian May compares Lambert to Freddie Mercury
This snap saw Roger wearing a pair of sunglasses with Freddie’s hand on his shoulder.
And Lambert said: “It’s so disappointing to have to postpone again, but safety comes first!
“Roger Taylor, Brian May and myself look forward to spring 2022 when we will be back, better than ever!”
Queen and Adam Lambert’s UK and European tour will take place in May to June 2022, but will now kick-off in the UK with two shows at the AO Arena Manchester on May 30.

After an incredible start to 2020 with a string of concerts in Asia and Oceania, Queen and Adam Lambert were looking forward to the UK and European leg of their Rhapsody tour. However, the pandemic saw those concerts, including a 10 night residency at London’s The O2, rescheduled to 2021. And now Brian May, Roger Taylor and the singer are “heartbroken” to announced that they are having to postpone their highly-anticipated tour to summer 2022.
