ELMHURST, IL A male s body was found about 9 a.m. Tuesday in the lagoon at Eldridge Park, 363 Commonwealth Lane, according to a city news release.
The manner and cause of his death have yet to be determined. His name is being withheld for the time being pending notification of family, police said.

ELMHURST, Ill. - Bond has been set at $25,000 for a man accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old female
Elmhurst gym employee, exposing himself to another gym employee and exposing himself to an Elmhurst Public Library employee.
Kelvin Brown, 42, is believed to be homeless and has been charged with one count of aggravated battery in a public place, one count of criminal sexual abuse, two counts of public indecency and one count of misdemeanor attempt disorderly conduct.

Elmhurst police responded to a call at the Elmhurst Public Library on April 12 for a call of suspicious behavior.
Authorities finished an investigation into two nooses found hanging from the bleachers at York Community High School s football field in Elmhurst and found a student responsible for placing them. The school chose not to pursue criminal charges.

ELMHURST, IL The Elmhurst Police Department released its latest arrests. Here is information from the police reports:
Battery
Jeffrey Harlan, 44, of Lombard, was arrested about 9 a.m. Thursday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, on a charge of battery. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Harlan kicked a security officer.
Disorderly conduct

Michael Kirksy, 23, of La Grange, was cited about 1 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of North Addison on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released on bond.
