Two workers at Aurora driver services facility charged

Two workers at Aurora driver services facility charged Charlene D. Queano Updated 2/26/2021 6:51 PM Two workers at the Illinois driver and vehicle services facility in Aurora are facing official misconduct charges for creating fake lien releases and issuing fraudulent vehicle titles, authorities said. Amy D. Williams, 53, of Aurora, and Charlene D. Queano, 48, of Villa Park, have each been charged with felony official misconduct. They were arrested Thursday, according to Capt. Elmer Garza, regional commander for the Secretary of State Police.   Garza said the two received vehicle identification numbers for vehicles from a dealership in South suburban Thornton. If there was a lien on the title of a vehicle, they created fake letters releasing the liens and issued new titles, Garza said.
