St. Charles Mayor Dan Borgmeyer said they are seeking millions of dollars from the utility company over contamination at the city's Elm Point Wellfield.
The City of St. Charles and Ameren Missouri have reached an agreement granting the utility company access to city-owned property in order to monitor groundwater contamination at the Elm Point Wellfield.
In addition to collecting groundwater samples, the Agency also collected soil samples at various depths, and expedited the laboratory analysis as well as the quality assurance/quality control process to ensure rapid delivery of results to the public.
