To do that, they are moving their innovative Recovery Curriculum into its next phase and the overall Schools Budget allocates £174,646,381 direct to schools for 2021/22. The Budget proposals, approved by Full Council on Wednesday, February 10, also include plans for £37,801,000 worth of capital projects in 2021/22 to improve school buildings and infrastructure, continuing our record investment in schools’ fabric and facilities for all pupils in South Gloucestershire.

The Budget sets out how the council will work in 2021/22 and beyond, allocating £250.982 million revenue funding to help achieve objectives to create the best start in life for children and young people; identify and support those most in need and to help people to help themselves; promote sustainable, inclusive communities, infrastructure and growth; and to realise the full potential of local people and deliver value for money.
