The #10 MDI Boys Soccer Team upset #7 Erskine Academy 4-1 on Monday in a Class B Prelim game in South China. The win sets up a Quarterfinal game at Ellsworth Wednesday night, October 25th at Del Luce Stadium.
The Ellsworth Eagles and John Bapst Crusaders looked to be heading to a 0-0 draw at the end of the regulation, until Jon Pangburn converted a corner kick with less than a minute left, and gave John Bapst a 1-0 win over Ellsworth in Ellsworth Wednesday night.
