Explore Ellsworth’s trail offerings with Heart of Ellsworth’s new online resource April 20, 2021 on News ELLSWORTH — Visitors and residents can explore Ellsworth’s trail options through a new hiking resource on Heart of Ellsworth’s webpage, heartofellsworth.org/hike. The page includes photos and descriptions, as well as an integrated map of trail locations through Maine Trail Finder.  “We are excited to partner with Maine Trail Finder to highlight Ellsworth’s diverse trails while attracting visitors and residents to explore downtown Ellsworth’s unique attributes and offerings,” said Heart of Ellsworth Executive Director Cara Romano. Resource Created For Folks Interested In Hiking Ellsworth Area

Folks looking for information on where, in the greater Ellsworth area, to find a good trail to hike, can now turn to a new online tool. This new hiking resource, (click here to take a look) has been created thanks to a collaboration between two non-profit organizations; The Heart of Ellsworth (a group of local people committed to promoting all the cool things going on the Ellsworth region) and the Maine Trail Finder (a free mapping website that encourages people to get outside and explore the world around them by showing them where they can go). According to a recently release statement about the new link, folks will be able to get a lot of information and detail on each trail.
