We begin this morning with a developing story out of carson city. A man is dead after reportedly truck crashing into authorities, then losing control of the vehicle. Carson city sheriff ken fur long said part of College Parkway was expected to be closed most of it the night as officers still investigated the scene. Sheriff fur long said this whole thing started around 4 00 yesterday afternoon when a yellow ford f150 was reported stolen near brown and edmunds drive. Deputies found that truck at a gas station on College Parkway, tried to approach the suspect, who they say ran into the deputys suv, then drove away quickly. Shortly after the suspect lost control of the truck and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled and killed him. Today is National Wear red day.
