Flynn is also awaiting the premiere of Linoleum, in which she stars with comedian Jim Gaffigan, multi-award winning actor Tony Shalhoub and Veep alum Rhea Seehorn. It feels like I m hitting the ground running, Flynn said. I have other films and projects down the line I m excited for and I hope everyone loves these films as much as I do.
The Rockland County actress spoke with The Journal News/lohud.com about her experience in the world of film.
How did growing up in Rockland influence your career?
At school, I was able to join drama club and work on the plays onstage and off. The community theater I attended was Stage Left Children s Theater and it allowed me to find a whole group of kids who were into acting as much as I was.

The movie, a psychological thriller, is stocked with Hudson Valley influences, from its locations the Hudson River, the Red Church in Tivoli and the Red Hook library are featured to the cast. Stars Amanda Seyfried, Karen Allen and Michael O Keefe all live locally. So, too, do the directors. We have spent a lot of time in the Hudson Valley and have a house here, said Pulcini. The couple are both native New Yorkers and longtime filmmakers; they directed 2013 s Girl Most Likely and wrote the screenplay for American Splendor, which won them an Oscar.
