Several track and field alumni from the Pella powerhouse track and field programs finished the indoor season and are transitioning to the outdoor competitions.
Emily Vos, a member of the 2018 Lady Dutch track and field champions and an individual title winner in the 200 meters, placed 6th in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in the 400 meters and was on the 4×400 team that placed second for the UNI Panthers. Vos has battled several injuries since heading to Cedar Falls, but looks to have a breakout campaign as a junior.
Former Pella boys distance and cross country competitors Nick Bernhagen and Joshua Van Dusseldorp competed at the NAIA National Indoor Championships with the Northwestern College Distance Medley Relay. Van Dusseldorp also competed in the 600 meter race, placing 11th.
